SEPTEMBER 18-19, 2025 ... HELD IN ST. PETERSBURG, FL

Join another engaging in-person R3 event with dozens of other RLF grads!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Reconnect with your RLF community through bold, real conversations that go beyond surface-level small talk
  • Explore fresh ideas and current challenges through powerful books, articles, and TED-style media
  • Recharge your leadership mindset with interactive sessions designed to inspire growth, clarity, and courage

TOPIC:

"Still Waters, Strong Currents: Leading from Awareness, Not Assumption"

In high-speed environments, it’s tempting to lead through momentum – to decide fast, speak first, and push forward. But what if our greatest strength comes not from force, but from attunement? This session invites us to explore the leadership power found in quiet observation, intentional pause, and deep listening. Together, we’ll reframe leadership as an act of presence; where the ability to read the room, ask the right questions, and respond with care can move people and outcomes in lasting ways.

FACILITATORS:

June Drewry and Kimberly Sharp

LOCATION:

St. Petersburg Bayfront Hilton, downtown St. Petersburg, FL

REGISTRATION FEE:

$260

CORE MEDIA SELECTIONS:

·  Book: The Power of Nunchi by Euny Hong - A practical and insightful guide to developing social awareness and fast perception. Through the Korean cultural lens of nunchi, Hong explains how attunement – to people, spaces, and energy – can be a superpower in leadership, communication, and connection.

·  Video: “Wait, What?” by James E. Ryan  - This short, compelling talk introduces five essential questions that foster clarity, humility, and human connection. “Wait, what?” becomes a mindset. A pause for curiosity in a world of fast assumptions.

AGENDA:

To be provided once registered.  Opportunities for volunteering will be provided after registration.

MEETING TIMES:

Meeting all day on Thursday, September 18 and the morning of Friday, September 19.

  • Explore fresh ideas and current challenges through powerful books, articles, and TED-style media
  • Recharge your leadership mindset with interactive sessions designed to inspire growth, clarity, and courage

TOPIC:

"Creativity and Leadership -- a Powerful Duo!"

Creative individuals bring energy, fresh perspectives, and color to the world (although they can also challenge our comfort zones). Leaders, on the other hand, inspire with vision, question the status quo, and empower others to achieve more than they imagined possible.  When creativity and leadership combine, the conditions exist for true transformation to take place!  During this R3, we’ll explore together how these dynamic forces – sometimes seen as separate – can be intentionally combined to amplify our influence at work, at home and in our communities.  Join fellow RLF grads in engaging discussion and opportunities to stretch both your creative and leadership muscles in a safe and inspiring environment.
